Support clients with meals, cooking, household maintenance, grooming, and dressing as assigned. Maintain current knowledge of client needs and provide rapport with supervisors, landlords, employers, family members, and community partners. Implement individual training and support programs under direction of the responsible case manager. Participate in evaluation of clients through task analysis and assessment devices. Document activity records, reports, incidents, and client evaluations accurately and promptly. Advocate for clients when preferences, needs, or talents are neglected or overlooked. Oversee client activities and environment throughout shifts, ensuring health and safety needs are met. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and background check. Physical evaluations may be required, including TB and lift‑and‑transfer tests. Schedule: A Direct Support Professional works as scheduled by the Regional Manager and/or their designee. Schedule may be part or full time depending on client needs. Overtime may be required, but no holiday or overtime may be worked without prior supervisor approval. Mobile: Employees must have a mobile smart device with reliable internet connectivity to complete essential job tasks. Reimbursement is provided for the device. Travel: Ability to travel within and across counties where services are provided, at least 75% of the time. Certification: Certification in an approved First‑Aid and CPR class within 45 days of hire.
