ER Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night shifts. The role involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics to geriatrics. The average daily census is 30 patients with a bed capacity of 40. Patient diagnoses may include respiratory issues, chest pain, myocardial infarction, strokes, and psychiatric patients. Stabilization and transfer for major trauma cases is required, with trauma facilities located nearby. Staff should be knowledgeable in managing acute psychosis and meeting the needs of psychiatric patients. A variety of skills are required, including arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and drug overdose response. The candidate should be comfortable with critical care procedures such as intubation and central line management. Travelers must be flexible and willing to float within the emergency department. The position emphasizes a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support, including pharmacy and rapid response teams. Candidates must comply with all required certifications prior to onboarding.

Experience: 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH required, CPI preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 1:4 - Preferred charting system experience with Epic
