Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in San Antonio, TX. The position offers weekly pay, a guaranteed minimum weekly earnings of $1,280, and benefits designed to support your career. Benefits Weekly pay, guaranteed $1,280 per week Solo miles pay: $0.475 per mile Solo stops pay: $10.00 per stop Drop and hook pay: $6.00 per drop/hook Shutdown bonus: $2,000 in two installments during the first year Safety bonus: $250 paid four times a year Medical, dental and vision coverage after 30 days 80 hours paid time off in the first year, starting Day1 (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms and boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available with company match at 1year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech and more Unlimited referral bonus for hired drivers Vehicle & Routing All trucks are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and company fuel at over 800 facilities Tractor type: sleeper cab Trailer type: dry van 53' Routes: solo to TX, local home daily Freight: no‑touch auto parts Strong backing skills required Company‑paid scale bypass Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder drug test Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physicalPass a Ryder road test Provide an appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9months within the past 3years, or 2years within the last 5years, or 5years within the last 10years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to whom you are assigned.
