Unit Details

Unit Description
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
RN bedside care in ICU/Telemetry setting; Critical care experience necessary

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Epic operating system; Accudose and Pyxis; experience with CRRT preferred

Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2 years recent ICU experience

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS, ACLS - required, Must be AHA. WV state RN license

Shift or schedule requirements.
12 hour shifts occasional weekend NTE 2 per month. Call rotation implemented

Floating to over units/departments.
Floating required however, RN will not perform outside scope of practice

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
5 ICU/ 5 Telemetry

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
2-3:1

Dress Code:
Specific color of scrub not required; attire appropriate

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
Hospital required orientation; unit specific computer modules, 1-2 days unit orientation

Additional Comments:
This is a critical access hospital with both ICU and Telemetry. Applicant required to work in both units as needed.
