Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

New York, NY Summary A prestigious midtown law firm seeks a professional, proactive individual with accounts receivable experience in a law firm setting. The qualified candidate will perform a variety of tasks in an accounting department including, but not limited to: Cash Receipts Record deposits (post cash receipts in Elite) and investigate when needed Review bank activity for wires/ACH’s (online) Client Payment via credit card transactions Online banking Collections Generate and send monthly statement of accounts Review open accounts for collection efforts Interact with billing attorneys/secretaries on outstanding amounts Resolve client-billing problems Make collection calls as needed in a professional manner while maintaining good client relations Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements Correspond with clients to encourage payment of delinquent accounts Maintain records of collection efforts/status by attorney Communicate with billing attorneys to project/forecast revenues Special projects as needed Abilities and skills needed Bachelor’s degree is required Minimum of 2 years of law firm experience Working experience of Elite 3E Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel & Word Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive detail Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel Must be flexible with overtime Willingness to work with and assist other staff members in accomplishing work assignments Pleasant and cooperative attitude Must be able to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly Compensation: $85,000.00-$90,000.00, plus bonus. #LI-Hybrid Salary: $85,000.00-$90,000.00, plus bonus Date Active: 10.7.2024 Exempt/Not Exempt: Exempt #J-18808-Ljbffr
