Job Summary

Vupico is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Analyst to join our remote data management team. In this role, you will evaluate, validate, and monitor data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability. You will support data governance initiatives, resolve data integrity issues, and help enhance the overall quality of enterprise data used within Vupico’s technology and client environments.

You will collaborate closely with data stewards, technical teams, and account managers to investigate data discrepancies, maintain clear documentation, and contribute to a high-quality data ecosystem. This position is ideal for a strong communicator with excellent analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for data accuracy and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Review, validate, and analyze data sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with business rules.

Identify data quality issues, investigate root causes, and work with technical teams to resolve discrepancies.

Monitor data quality dashboards, metrics, and reports to track ongoing data health.

Assist in implementing data quality standards, controls, and validation procedures.

Document and maintain data quality issues, findings, and resolutions in internal systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Governance, Product, Engineering, and Client Services to support data improvement initiatives.

Support data cleansing, enrichment, and normalization activities across various domains.

Provide recommendations on recurring data issues, patterns, and process enhancements to strengthen data governance.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Proven experience in data quality, data analysis, data governance, or related analytical roles.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, or data quality platforms.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while partnering with global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

Experience with MDM systems, data governance tools, or enterprise data platforms.

Familiarity with SAP environments or data-related SaaS solutions.

Knowledge of data profiling, data cleansing, or data validation techniques.

Experience with ticketing or workflow tools used for data issue tracking.
