Assisted Living Serve Safe Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assisted Living Serve Safe Cook to join our team at Grand Villa Assisted Living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As an essential part of our dining services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals in a friendly and welcoming environment. MUST BE SERVE SAFE!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with our Serve Safe policies and procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards

• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner

• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed

• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and prepare special diets and menus

• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory agencies and company policies

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience preferred (or equivalent education and training)

• Serve Safe Certification required

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
