Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA/QC Manager - Mechanical to join our team. This exciting role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes. The successful candidate will be involved in the continuous improvement of our quality management systems and will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage the company's QA/QC procedures and systems. Conduct regular audits of the company's systems, processes, and products both internally and externally to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Work closely with the production team to identify any potential quality issues and implement corrective actions. Lead the team in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformance issues. Collect and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy. Train and guide staff on QA/QC procedures and policies to ensure understanding and compliance. Review suppliers purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements. Participate in internal and external quality audits. Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards. Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities. Monitor risk management activities. Responsible for document management systems. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role in the Engineering industry, with a focus on mechanical products. Extensive knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and standards. Proven experience in conducting both internal and external audits. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and how to implement and improve them. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in data analysis and statistical interpretation. Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management systems. Certifications such as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma preferred. Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA/QC. Attention to detail. Data collection, management and analysis. Problem analysis and problem solving. Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other industry-specific standards.
