DevOps Engineer

Job Title

Our mission is to support entrepreneurs in conquering global e-commerce. We are one of the fastest growing platforms in the industry – in the last 3 years we have grown 15-fold! We provide an all-in-one system for thousands of sellers, integrating them with Amazon, eBay, or Shopify.

Managing the infrastructure that handles millions of requests is a role of high trust. Therefore, we are looking for a person with a strong moral backbone.

Your Technology Stack

We work on a solid, efficient stack. You must know it from the inside out.

• Core: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Nginx (deep tuning and optimization), PHP-FPM
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM)
• Data: MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ
• Observability: Datadog, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
• IaC: Terraform / Ansible

Your Tasks

• You will manage infrastructure permissions. We expect meticulous care in who has access to the servers and why
• Implementing concepts of stable operation of cloud services on AWS that can withstand our dynamic growth
• Maintaining Unix/Linux servers – configuration, updates, and automation, with a full understanding of what happens in the operating system
• Responding to incidents based on deep log analysis (DD, Elastic). Finding root causes, not just restarting services
• Supporting developer teams to ensure continuous and smooth system operation

What We Expect

• Min. 4 years of experience: In a DevOps/SysAdmin role, including practice with AWS
• Very good knowledge of the cloud, but supported by experience in classical administration (past experience in maintaining physical servers/Data Center is desirable)
• Freedom in Linux: Terminal is your natural working environment
• Morality and Responsibility: You combine a "Can Do" approach with responsibility for the "keys to the kingdom"

• Humble towards technology: You know that everyone makes mistakes, but you know how to fix them
• Analyze the problem from 360 degrees: You look at the problem from all sides – security, performance, and long-term effects
• Connects the cloud with "metal": We work on AWS, but we are looking for someone who understands the physical nature of the server

• Language: English min. B2 (we work globally)

Milestone

• AWS certifications (confirming knowledge)
• Practical knowledge of Terraform
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Cloudflare
• Willingness to develop in the direction of agent-based DevOps (process automation)
