*** General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/providers/Director of Nursing/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology. Is able to responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)


3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Current Wyoming (or compact) Registered Nurse license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg experience required.

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
WY or compact RN license required, BLS required, ACLS required, ENPC or PALS (one is required).

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Call is not required but appreciated, every other weekend or equivalent required.

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
Traveler may float to another department if they have at least 1 year of recent experience in that modality and are willing to do so. Skills checklist must be on file with FocusOne.


7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
15 beds

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
Nurses rarely have more than four patients

9. Dress Code:
Department scrubs are provided and laundered.
