Material Handling Specialist

Material HandlerWe are seeking a highly disciplined, detail-oriented Material Handler to support the Supply Chain operations. This individual will play a crucial role in managing material flow throughout the facility from receiving and inventory placement to staging finished goods for shipment. The ideal candidate will follow processes to the letter and take ownership of inventory accuracy and material movement.Pay Rate: Starting at $18ph will depend on experience and interview results Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-12 hour shifts (daytime; occasional extended hours during peak periods)Key Responsibilities:Operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facilityReceive incoming production materials and verify against packing slips and quality standardsAccurately document incoming materials and place them into proper inventory locationsPick and stage materials for outbound shipments, ensuring all packaging and documentation is correctMaintain real-time and accurate records using inventory management systemsPerform material transfers and support internal production movementConduct and assist with regular cycle counts and inventory auditsFollow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols without deviationCommunicate clearly with production, logistics, and quality control teamsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentValid forklift certification (sit-down forklift required)Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of inventory accuracyAbility to follow written and verbal instructions with precisionComfortable using ERP/WMS systems and basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, scanners)Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periodsIdeal Candidate Traits:Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicProcess-driven with a zero-defect mindsetCapable of maintaining composure under pressure and during long shiftsStrong communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teamsTakes initiative and demonstrates pride in work quality
