Seasonal Tax Associate
Virtual Vocations Inc
Assisting the tax department in an administrative capacity, the part-time Seasonal Tax Associate will manage daily tax correspondence, oversee tax exemption certificate administration, and support compliance deadlines in a virtual environment. Key responsibilities Respond to tax-related inquiries from internal personnel and customers Maintain and file valid tax exemption certificates and manage business license registrations Assist with data clean-up projects and preparation of sales & use tax payments Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, General Business, or equivalent experience Working knowledge of invoicing, credit/accounts receivable, and customer master files Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, NetSuite, and Vertex Cloud Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with staff and vendors
