Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, develops, and evaluates mechanical systems and components
- Improves and maintains existing systems or contributes to new project development
- Designs and drafts technical drawings and specifications
- Conducts site visits as needed and supports project coordination
- Applies engineering principles and analyses within the scope of assigned projects
- Performs work under general supervision
- Addresses moderately complex technical issues and escalates more complex matters when appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solid mathematical and analytical abilities
- Proficiency with relevant computer and engineering software
- Technical aptitude with strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
