This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a growing corporate environment as the organization expands its office footprint and continues its return-to-office initiatives.The specialist will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, Windows, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and basic network issues; image and deploy computers; support conference room/AV technology; manage IT assets; and assist with office moves and technology deployments. This is a highly customer-facing position supporting everyone from new hires through executive leadership.Top 4 SkillsDesktop / End-User Support – Windows, laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.Hardware Deployment & Troubleshooting – Imaging, configuration, hardware refreshes, repairs, workstation setups, and deployments.Customer Service & Communication – Professional, high-touch support for corporate users and executives.Basic Networking & IT Infrastructure Support – Connectivity troubleshooting, cable testing, patching, and remote-hands assistance.ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite and remote end-user technical support.Troubleshoot Windows, hardware, software, peripherals, and connectivity issues.Configure, image, deploy, and replace laptops/desktops.Support new-hire setups and hardware refreshes.Stage equipment for large-scale deployments and office expansions.Set up and relocate workstations and office technology.Troubleshoot conference rooms, displays, docks, and AV equipment.Perform hardware repairs and coordinate warranty work.Track inventory and IT assets and assist with equipment recycling.Perform basic network cable testing and patching.Provide hands-on assistance to remote infrastructure teams.Manage support tickets and document resolutions in Jira.Learn and troubleshoot department-specific applications.Support employees at all organizational levels, including executives.Participate in office expansion, modernization, and infrastructure projects.QualificationsCandidates should have hands-on desktop, help desk, field support, or similar IT experience. They need working knowledge of Windows, PC hardware, peripherals, software troubleshooting, and basic networking, along with experience using Jira, ServiceNow, or another ticketing platform.The client is targeting roughly 1–3 years of IT support experience, but this could also be a strong opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills, technical aptitude, and the motivation to grow an IT career.Preferred: Conference room/AV support, asset management, hardware lifecycle/deployment experience, CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate, or similar foundational certifications.
