Development Coordinator

The Bender JCC in Rockville, Maryland is a premier community center at the heart of Jewish life in Montgomery County, operating a full-scale health and fitness center, pre-school, day camp and variety of education and arts programs. The Development Coordinator plays a vital role in the advancement, philanthropy, and fundraising of the Bender JCC. This position is responsible for working on the segments of the annual fundraising campaign, stewardship of mid-level donors, and working on major development events. An ideal candidate is an excellent front-line fundraiser and project manager, has a passion for making an impact and leading, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This role presents a unique opportunity to raise critical funds for a full continuum of community programs including camp, the arts, Jewish culture, and senior services. Under the guidance of the Chief Development Office (CDO), the individual who takes on this role will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategy and growth of a thriving institution that has served as an important part of the community for more than 100 years. This is a full-time, exempt position, with an annual salary between $60,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience.
