HIRING – CONVEYOR BELT TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA AREA

Start As soon as possible – Facility Based / In-Person

We are hiring immediately experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians / Maintenance Mechanics for our automated package sorting hubs. This is a hands-on working role for technicians who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex material handling and conveyor systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

PAY & BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $28–$38 per hour (based on experience and location)
Overtime Paid (time and a half after 40 hours)

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:

Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical components including conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, motors, and gearboxes (daily, hands-on)
Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial electrical systems (including 480V 3-phase motors and motor control circuits)
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on automated material handling equipment (MHE)
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
Strictly adhere to safety protocols, specifically Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)procedures
Work efficiently to clear conveyor jams and minimize operational downtime

REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS):

Proven experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Conveyor System Repair
Must have your own basic industrial hand tools (specialty tools provided)
MUST be comfortable working at heights, navigating catwalks, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Reliable, safety-focused, and ready to start immediately

NOT a facility janitorial or entry-level package handler role
