HIRING – CONVEYOR BELT TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA AREA
Start As soon as possible – Facility Based / In-Person
We are hiring immediately experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians / Maintenance Mechanics for our automated package sorting hubs. This is a hands-on working role for technicians who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex material handling and conveyor systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
PAY & BENEFITS:
- Pay Range: $28–$38 per hour (based on experience and location)
- Overtime Paid (time and a half after 40 hours)

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:
- Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical components including conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, motors, and gearboxes (daily, hands-on)
- Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial electrical systems (including 480V 3-phase motors and motor control circuits)
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on automated material handling equipment (MHE)
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols, specifically Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)procedures
- Work efficiently to clear conveyor jams and minimize operational downtime
REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS):
- Proven experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Conveyor System Repair
- Must have your own basic industrial hand tools (specialty tools provided)
- MUST be comfortable working at heights, navigating catwalks, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, safety-focused, and ready to start immediately
NOT a facility janitorial or entry-level package handler role
