Essential duties and responsibilitiesSafely maneuver furniture frames on work platformTacks cardboard, padding and upholstery material to top, side, and bottom rails of outside arms, fitting and shaping materials to obtain specified contour using staple gun, staple puller, scissors, and regulatorResponsible for fixing their own repairsMaintains neat and orderly workstation.Follow all workplace safety standardsPerforms other duties as required by supervisor.Qualification requirementsAt least 2 years of hands on inside/outside Upholstery experienceMicrosoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook to Intermediate levelEffective communication & interpersonal skills required to build relationships across the businessDemonstrate use of upholstery toolsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsEffective verbal, listening and written communication skillsEffective organizational, stress and time management skillsDemonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently or as a team memberAbility to read work instructionsPhysical demands and abilitiesProlonged standing/walking/bending required and lifting up to 50 poundsRegularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects #J-18808-Ljbffr Fairfield-Chair-Company
