In this senior leadership role, you’ll help deliver important drinking water projects from planning and design through construction and start-up. You’ll work on projects involving water treatment facilities, distribution systems, storage facilities, and source supply infrastructure that support public health and long-term community growth.What You'll Do:Lead drinking water infrastructure projects from initial planning through construction and completion Oversee engineering studies, designs, reports, and technical documentation Provide guidance on water treatment, storage, and distribution system improvements Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep projects moving forward Mentor junior staff and support technical quality across projects Evaluate existing water systems and recommend practical, sustainable solutions Prepare reports and presentations for clients, regulatory agencies, and internal leadership Support proposals and help communicate technical concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of engineering experience required, preferably related to drinking water systemsProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredStrong understanding of water treatment and distribution infrastructure Experience with engineering and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Plant3D, Civil 3D, or WaterCAD Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Familiarity with engineering standards, QA/QC practices, and regulatory requirements Why You'll Love It Here:Work on projects that directly support public health and community infrastructure Help modernize and improve drinking water systems across the region Collaborate with experienced engineers and industry professionals Be part of a team that values practical thinking, teamwork, and long-term solutions Opportunity to lead meaningful projects and mentor the next generation of engineersCurious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
