About the Role: As a COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being for our residents. Your expertise will help our residents regain strength, improve cognitive function, and enhance their overall quality of life. Responsibilities: Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for residents Conduct daily assessments and evaluations to monitor resident progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed Provide individualized therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and education to promote resident independence and functional abilities Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans Requirements: Current certification as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) in the state of Ohio Completion of an associate's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and to transfer residents safely and effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability Additional Information: Benefits Minimum Years of Experience: 1 years #J-18808-Ljbffr
