Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

Under the direction of a staff pharmacist and/or the pharmacy leadership team, the Pharmacy Technician I - Registered role follows established policies and procedures to perform a variety of routine support tasks integral to the operation of the pharmacy department. Tasks include, but are not limited to, preparing and distributing unit-dose medications, outpatient prescriptions, and stock orders, while maintaining the safe handling and integrity of medications. Tasks may also include responsibilities of technical training and participation in departmental projects. Staffing assignments will include roles throughout the central pharmacy and designated specialized pharmacy areas. For the Pharmacy Technician I - Registered role, certification is preferred for employment. This job profile aligns with the duties outlined by the MA Board of Pharmacy.
