The Warranty Administrator manages automotive manufacturer warranties, extended service contracts, and multiple warranty programs from claim preparation through resolution. This role works closely with dealership and vendor partners, service and repair technicians, and customer service and operations teams to support accurate processing, policy compliance, reimbursement tracking, and effective customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit warranty claims for automotive manufacturer warranties and extended service contracts.
- Review and approve claims while managing the full claims process.
- Review repair orders and verify claim documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Resolve disputed claims and serve as a liaison with manufacturers.
- Provide warranty support to dealership and vendor partners.
- Communicate with customers regarding warranty coverage, claim status, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with warranty policies and conduct claims audits.
- Prepare weekly claims reports, analyze warranty expenses, and track monthly reimbursements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in warranty administration.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some vehicle knowledge.
