JOB TITLE: Shipping Associate JOB SUMMARY This Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring proper receipt and placement/storage of materials throughout the warehouse and shop.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift Certified PREFERRED SKILLS Positive team player attitude with an interest in continuous improvement Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Dependable, reliable, and punctual Able to work evenings and some holidays, and overtime when needed CORE DUTIES Read and record serial numbers from firearms Memorize all models and specifications Pack orders following proper instructions and verify all relevant information of outbound shipments Load and unload trucks Provide communication to management when daily tasks cannot be accomplished in a regular workday Provide back-up for all shipping/receiving function Undergo training in all areas of the warehouse (Shipping, Receiving, and OSP) Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. in shipping/receiving area Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient way (forklift & pallet jack) HOURS 1st shift position Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday- overtime as needed SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.? Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
