Senior Data EngineerThe Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and building infrastructure to support various Finance, Accounting, and Business Model Strategy organizations. This includes architecting data models, integrating disparate data sources, and managing a data warehouse to enable users to uncover insights. The role will also be involved in the development of internal applications and processes to standardize the collection and representation of contractual data across Adobe. Additionally, the engineer will use AI and large language models (LLMs) to solve problems and increase efficiency/productivity in new ways.What You'll DoBuild, develop, test and deploy services and tools for Finance and Business Model Strategy organizationsDesign and maintain data warehouses and architect data models to support financial reporting and product consumptionDevelop and manage data pipelines for collecting, processing, and integrating data from multiple sourcesParticipate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, unit integration/testing, bug fixing and documentationBuild systems and processes to normalize contractual and product usage data and surface insights to internal and external customersRapidly prototype ideas and concepts, researching latest industry trends in areas like data analytics, LLMs, and AICollaborate and strategize with internal partners; solicit feedback to build data products that meet program objectivesWhat You Need to SucceedBachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Computer Science, Data Analytics or relevant field7 years experience in a related role/field7 years experience with SQL, Python, or equivalentProficiency with SQL Server, Databricks, storage services and other database technologiesExperience with data pipeline orchestration, scheduling, and configurationKnowledge of database design and architecture principles, with a drive for delivering well-documented data products with high throughput and low latencyCommitment to finding solutions to challenges and enjoy creative problem solvingAbility to solve problems collaboratively and build strong relationshipsExperience delivering quality process and outcomesProcess orientation with strong attention to detailWhat Would Make You Stand Out2 years of hands-on experience in DatabricksExperience with LLMs, especially employing AI in code development, data analysis, and document summarizationFamiliarity with finance and accounting principles and core business performance metricsUnderstanding of common SaaS contract terms, structures, and verbiageProven track record of taking independent action with internal customers to address their most salient problems and pressing needsEEO: "Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans."
