Director of Maintenance

Director of Maintenance Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team at Avista Nursing and Rehab in Saginaw, Michigan. As a Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to our facilities. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, monitoring equipment and systems, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs : Conduct routine inspections and perform repairs and maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety Manage inventory and supplies : Oversee the ordering and inventory management of maintenance supplies, materials, and equipment Monitor equipment and systems : Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; ensure equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements : Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes Communicate effectively : Collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure seamless operations and maintain open communication channels Requirements: Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role Why join our team: At Avista Nursing and Rehab, we are committed to delivering high-quality subacute, skilled nursing, and long-term care to the communities of Central Michigan.
