Patient Access Representative I- Advanced Imaging Support Services
Responsibilities include assisting in daily operations of the advanced imaging department, taking phone calls, working with technologists and radiologists on scheduling procedures and exams, uploading images to PACS for radiologist comparison and archiving, contacting patients to remind them of their scheduled appointments, providing the highest level of patient satisfaction, working closely with Patient Access and Financial Counselor to ensure insurance authorizations are completed, assisting with data entry of patient electronic medical records, communicating any delays to the front desk and providers, working with requesting providers to find the best solution for add-on patients, communicating any issues to the appropriate modality and/or Radiology Supervisor, and performing any other support duties as needed by radiologists, technologists, and site management.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred. Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
