Mammography Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume mammography imaging in a fast-paced breast care environment, supporting approximately 100 patients per day
• Operate Hologic mammography equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Perform Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density, and Mammogram procedures
• Assist with breast biopsy procedures as needed
• Adhere to department protocols and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
• Meet holiday coverage requirements, including 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Mammography required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mammography
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume breast care or women's imaging environment
• Familiarity with breast biopsy procedures and bone density imaging
• Strong ability to maintain efficiency and quality in a fast-paced setting
