Desired Background and Skills:

• Valid California SLPA license required
• Previous experience in school-based or healthcare SLPA roles preferred
• Solid grasp of speech-language therapy techniques and strategies for K-8 students
• Ability to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about fostering student growth and communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
• Implement direct treatment activities and reinforce language development in both individual and group settings
• Collect data to monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Support the setup and adaptation of therapy materials for various grade levels
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
• Participate in school meetings and trainings, contributing insights as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
