Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Accounting Principals) Location: Cedar Park, TX Schedule: Fully Onsite About the Opportunity LHH is partnering with a growing construction company in Cedar Park to identify an experienced Accounting Manager. This position will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end close activities, support financial reporting, and lead a small accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting leadership experience, a process-improvement mindset, and prior experience within the construction industry. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and job cost accounting Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Monitor project accounting activities, job costing, and WIP reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Reconcile balance sheet accounts and oversee cash management activities Partner with operations and project managers to analyze project profitability and costs Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts Coordinate annual audits and support tax preparation activities Develop, mentor, and manage accounting staff Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Construction industry experience required Strong understanding of job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and WIP schedules Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills CPA designation preferred but not required Paid time off and holidays Growth opportunities within a stable and expanding organization If you're an accounting professional with construction industry experience and a passion for leading teams and improving processes, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
