Position Summary
The University of Alabama School of Law seeks to fill up to four tenure-track positions for the 2027-28 academic year, including two positions for lateral candidates at the Associate or Full Professor of Law rank.

Detailed Position Information
The University of Alabama School of Law seeks to fill up to four tenure-track positions for the 2027-28 academic year, including two positions for lateral candidates at the Associate or Full Professor of Law rank. Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field).

Qualified candidates with expertise in any of the following fields will be considered: criminal law and procedure, contracts, property, civil procedure, consumer law, business law, tax law, intellectual property, and technology/AI. We welcome applications from candidates who approach scholarship from a variety of perspectives and methods.
