Job Summary

Spaulding Outpatient Center Wellesley is expanding! We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist specializing in cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema treatment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and/or experience in treating patients with lymphedema, cancer-related impairments, post-surgical conditions, and other oncology-related rehabilitation needs. This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, compassionate, evidence-based care while helping patients improve function, mobility, and quality of life throughout their cancer journey.

Essential Functions

• Establishes therapy goals and formulates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
• Supervises PTAs in accordance with organizational policy and state regulations.
• Provides individual, family, and group therapy sessions for clients engaged in outpatient therapy.
• Participates in interdisciplinary groups for hospice patients and case conference meetings for home health patients.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Provides initial assessment of clinical needs using standardized tools and protocols, and facilitates recommendations for treatment.
• Records all pertinent data in the patient's medical records.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy required or Master's Degree Physical Therapy required or Doctor of Physical Therapy Physical Therapy preferred.

Licenses and Credentials: Physical Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required.

Experience: Experience in a hospital, rehab or ambulatory setting 2-3 years required.
