Supply Chain Operations Specialist – Flint, MI Compensation & Benefits Pay Type: Salaried, paid weekly Annual Salary: $55,000 per year (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Saturday 1:30 pm–10:00 pm (2 Saturdays off, occasional Sunday) Benefits begin after 30 days of employment: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) savings plan with company match Discounted employee stock purchase options Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, appliances, travel, and more Paid holidays and paid time off within first year Up to 12 weeks paid maternity leave Key Responsibilities Communicate daily/shift goals and report plans to achieve operational objectives. Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists. Lead and conduct in‑depth training and continuous review of employee understanding of policies, procedures and processes. Make decisions for location activities including demand planning, supplier calls, customer interactions, specialized process troubleshooting, etc. Support development of system and process training for employees in the work group(s); perform operational administrative functions. Identify and resolve operational issues with accounts by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives. Additional Responsibilities May serve as a floater across multiple shifts to support all Supply Chain Ops Associate roles. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Effective verbal and written communication with employees, peers and management. Strong organizational, follow‑up and computer skills. Ability to work self‑directed with minimal supervision. Ability to manage individual performance and employee relations. Sound judgment when information is incomplete or ambiguous. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – intermediate preferred. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) – intermediate required. OSHA – intermediate required. DOT and Hazmat (based on the account) – intermediate preferred. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year in logistics, warehouse or related field. Preferred: At least 1 year of prior supervisory experience. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – intermediate preferred. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) – intermediate required.
