HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Ft Walton Beach, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

· Number of Beds : 33

· Patient Ratios : 1:5 / 1:6

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : US, Free Charge, CNAs, Oncology Resource Nurse, Patient Care Coordinator, Nurse Manager, & Nurse Director, Unit Case Mgr, Pharmacist

· Type of equipment : Standard vital signs machine; bed/chair alarms; new Centrella beds

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: minimum 3 shifts per week/ rotating weekends & holiday commitments

· Floating policy: subject to floating to other depts

· Patient Experience requirements: Priority focus on personal connections with each patient. Must be an effective communicator with patients/family/ care providers.

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: Med-Surg; Oncology; Chemo-certified; BLS

Must have: Med-Surg and/or Oncology experience Advanced skills needed: Chemotherapy administration Procedures performed on unit: Chemotherapy; wound care; foley insertion; PCA pump administration Certifications Required: BLS
