Quality Control Technician

Job Responsibilities Perform quality control testing on raw materials and foam batches. Maintain retains and electronic records for all QC samples. Ensure compliance with internal standards and documentation procedures. Lab Operations Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness. Monitor and manage inventory of chemicals, supplies, and tools. Calibrate and maintain lab instruments as needed. Safety & Documentation Participate in writing and reviewing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lab tasks, equipment, and protocols. Promote a safety-first mindset and ensure adherence to safety procedures. Identify and report safety concerns and contribute to continuous improvement. Research Support Prepare and stage experimental setups for foam spray testing. Assist researchers with material handling and equipment configuration. Collaborate with scientists to ensure smooth execution of R&D experiments. Skills Experience in laboratory quality control or materials testing, preferred but will train. Familiarity with lab safety protocols and documentation practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with research teams. Proficiency in maintaining electronic records and using lab management systems. Education / Experience Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required; B.S. in Engineering or the physical sciences (Chemistry, physics, etc.) is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr SGS Consulting
