AI Solution Architect The Opportunity: Design and implement effective AI solution architecture and strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs while complying with the organization's strategies and business goals and key ethical considerations. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members. This position is located in Ashburn, VA. You Have: 5+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, or software engineering 5+ years of experience with programming, including in Python Experience with deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or agentic AI Experience and comfort with independent, self-directed research Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design Ability to lead and support the day-to-day execution of technology assessment efforts, including analysis comparing alternatives, characterization and quantification of performance, and comprehension and development of requirements based on mission needs Ability to quickly learn about and distill a wide variety of complex technical topics into core concepts understandable by general audiences Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in a STEM field Nice If You Have: Experience leading technical development and technical research teams Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph Secret clearance Master's degree in a STEM field preferred; Doctorate degree in a STEM field a plus Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
