Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

Day Shift Quality InspectorLegacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Day Shift Quality Inspector role in Cincinnati, OH. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.Utilize measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection instruments to verify product specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure product conformity.Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures.Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues, non-conformances, and production defects.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support corrective and preventative actions.Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.Assist with audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and implementation of quality control procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety protocols.Promptly communicate quality concerns and recommendations to supervisors and leadership.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and measurement tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50+ lbs as needed.Experience with quality systems such as ISO standards is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive hourly wage. $25-$32 DOE.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.The opportunity to contribute to a company dedicated to quality, innovation, and operational excellence.At Legacy Talent Search, we are more than just a staffing agency.
