Job Opportunity: Board Certified Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon to become part of a well-established and expanding practice located in the beautiful coastal area of North Myrtle Beach, SC. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience, although new graduates are also welcome to apply.

• Join a thriving sports program that includes:
• 1 Sports Surgeon
• 2 non-operative sports physicians
• 1 Sports Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
• Collaborate with a diverse orthopedic team comprising:
• 3 joint surgeons
• 1 foot and ankle specialist
• 1 upper extremity surgeon
• 1 spine surgeon
• A large group of Advanced Practice Providers
• Engage in both practice and operating room time, with access to growing ORs and a freestanding surgical center.
• Participate in emergency department call, rotating among the surgical team.
• Work alongside a team of 9 Advanced Practice Providers who assist with inpatient call rotation.
• Build relationships with local high schools and colleges.
• General orthopedic skills are required.

Our facility, McLeod Health Seacoast, boasts over 200 active physicians across more than 32 medical specialties. We also operate McLeod Health Loris, a non-profit 50-bed hospital that focuses on general surgery, women's services, emergency care, critical care, urology, and various therapies.

We are excited to announce the development of McLeod Health Carolina Forest, a 43-acre campus that will feature a seven-building complex offering a wide range of services. A new state-of-the-art facility, costing $56 million, is set to provide 48 beds and is expected to open in 2026.
