Generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of our organization, located at Valleywise Health Medical Center (previously known as Maricopa Medical Center). We are in the process of launching a new 240-bed teaching facility in collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine. This modern hospital will serve as a premier Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.

Our organization co-sponsors nine residency programs in partnership with the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children's Hospital, all situated in the heart of Phoenix. The selected candidate will be employed by our multi-specialty group, which consists of over 400 professionals dedicated to patient care and education. This role will play a vital part in supporting the educational goals of the OB/GYN department's teaching initiatives.

Responsibilities of the OB Generalist

• Varied responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Tasks will encompass labor and delivery, staffing for outpatient clinics, as well as gynecological consultations and surgical procedures.
• The regular work schedule will include weekend and night shifts.

Applicants should possess an MD or DO degree, hold a valid medical license in Arizona, and be ACOG Board-certified or Board-eligible.
