Backend Java / Software Engineer

Job Summary (List Format):
- Opportunity open to candidates authorized to work in the US without restrictions for the assignment duration
- Must possess hands-on experience troubleshooting and enhancing code using Java, Python, scripting, and DevOps practices
- Required familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Gen AI tools such as Kiro and Amazon Queue
- Participate in a standard on-call rotation (one shift/weekend every 4 5 weeks)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of technology experience in programming, development, and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions
- Proficient in Full Stack development, including React, JavaScript, Python, Java, and Angular
- Experience with AWS and enterprise-grade web content management platforms (e.g., Acquia, SiteCorp, Drupal)
- Ability to analyze system architecture and contribute to design planning
- Skilled in managing knowledge management and content tools
- Understanding of communication channels, deliverability, and compliance requirements
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams (marketing, HR, legal, compliance)
- Ability to manage dependencies with vendors or internal engineering teams for software delivery
- Experience with Ping/Single Sign-On, Bitbucket pipelines, Content Delivery Networks (e.g., Cloudflare), website monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic), DNS, TLS certificates, REST APIs, and caching strategies
- Interview process includes two rounds (MS Teams video and in-person)
- Coding assessment required on Java/J2EE and Python scripting/automation
