Job Summary & Qualifications Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist administers radioactive materials in order to perform imaging and laboratory and dynamic function studies necessary to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Prepares radioactive isotopes and operates nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment. Demonstrates and explains procedures and techniques used in nuclear medicine studies, including how to compute necessary doses and correct use of new and existing equipment.
