Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Templeton, CA. Start date: 06/22/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,759–$2,886 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Setting: Labor and delivery unit within a travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns.
- Lead unit-based nursing activities, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
- Supervise and direct the work of nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion.
- Ensure cost-effective, professional care that supports positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.
- Assess patient experience and contribute to quality improvement initiatives on the unit.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Experience in unit-based leadership or supervisory roles within a nursing team (Nurse Lead responsibilities)
- Ability to work night shifts in a travel temporary assignment
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice in a labor and delivery setting
