Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a position that splits time equally between CT scanning and general X-ray imaging.

Details

• Hospital-based imaging department with responsibilities split 50/50 between CT scanning and general X-ray
• Canon CT scanner used for computed tomography procedures
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Floating to general X-ray is required up to 50% of the time
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Canon CT equipment
• Experience performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and computed tomography
• ARRT certification required; state license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform computed tomography procedures to produce sectional anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners
• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures including general X-ray imaging
• Corroborate patient condition and exercise professional judgment to ensure successful procedure completion
• Provide appropriate patient care and maintain a demeanor consistent with medical ethics
