Medical Assistant Position

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine Clinic. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a Physician and Nurse as part of a team-based care model, supporting high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, document histories, and update the EHR
• Assist the Physician and Nurse with exams, procedures, and treatments
• Support patient flow, care coordination, and follow-up
• Manage routine EHR tasks and patient portal messages within scope
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience working in a Family Medicine or primary care setting preferred.
