Lead AI Product Manager

Job Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced product leader to work with cross‑functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build AI‑powered solutions that solve enterprise problems. The role involves quickly moving from understanding a business challenge to prototyping an AI solution and proving its value. The product leader will drive a complex product area within our applied AI portfolio, define success, develop the team, and deliver step‑change results across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead a complex product area within our applied AI portfolio, defining success and prioritizing problems while aligning with the broader organizational context. Partner directly with business units to understand operations, capture requirements, map processes, and identify significant AI‑driven improvement opportunities. Translate business objectives and user needs into scoped AI use cases and drive them from concept through prototyping, development, evaluation, and validation. Own the backlog—write epics, features, and stories, and prioritize work. Develop detailed program plans, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies. Lead rapid prototyping of AI solutions, including GenAI applications, AI agents, conversational AI, and intelligent automation, to demonstrate feasibility and business value. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and data scientists to define product vision, develop roadmaps, and advance progress, while fostering team health and effectiveness. Gather and analyze user research, business process data, and market analysis to inform product decisions and influence the broader product organization. Develop evaluation frameworks to benchmark AI models and platforms against enterprise success requirements, and identify opportunities and resolve dependencies across adjacent product areas. Create reusable product frameworks, playbooks, and best practices to accelerate AI solution delivery throughout the organization. Influence partner teams, enhancing collaboration and resolving divergent goals. Communicate product strategy, progress, and business value with clarity to all stakeholders. Mentor, coach, and provide hands‑on guidance to PMs and cross‑functional team members. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 7 years of experience, including 4+ years in product design, service design, program and/or product management roles. Leading cross‑functional product teams across a full product line, crafting mission and strategy, defining requirements, coordinating resources, and achieving milestones. Direct experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and identifying high‑impact AI improvement opportunities. Hands‑on experience prototyping or building AI‑powered solutions. Experience with AI/ML products and platforms in enterprise settings, including GenAI, conversational AI, or intelligent automation. Proven ability to drive performance improvements for both products and the teams that deliver them. Managing products through the full lifecycle—discovery, prototyping, validation, and deployment support. Product & Technical Skills Extensive analysis of large‑scale, complex data sets to make data‑driven decisions. Integrating diverse user and business requirements into a coherent product strategy. Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical implications for enterprise product design. Experience with GenAI platforms, prompt engineering, AI agent frameworks, and rapid AI prototyping. Knowledge of AI solution architectures such as RAG, conversational AI, and vector databases. Leading development of evaluation frameworks for assessing AI model performance. Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro). Understanding of human‑centered design principles and data visualization for AI applications. Knowledge of responsible AI principles, bias mitigation, and ethical AI design. Strategy, Leadership & Communication Synthesizing complex information and translating between business language and technical concepts with clarity. Experience with product strategy, roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and agile delivery. Building compelling business cases and ROI models to drive AI investment decisions. Leading and motivating teams and influencing across an organization without direct authority. Communicating complex messages to executive and cross‑functional audiences with extreme clarity. Building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Awareness of industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and best practices in enterprise AI product development. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years in product design, service design, UX/UI design, program and/or product management. Experience in the healthcare industry. Additional Information Hybrid Work Style : This position follows a hybrid work style and must be performed at one of our designated IT hub locations: Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; Boston, MA; New York City; or Washington, D.C. Home Office Requirements : Home or Hybrid employees must provide an internet service that meets minimum download and upload speeds of 25 Mbps and 10 Mbps, respectively. Approved connections include fiber, DSL, or cable; satellite, cellular, and microwave may be used only with leadership approval. Employees working in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi‑weekly reimbursement for internet expense. Schedule and Compensation Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40 Pay Range : $151,600 – $208,400 per year (based on geography and experience). This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
