Your new role


As a Senior Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for the successful delivery of large and complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Acting as the primary liaison between ownership, field operations, subcontractors, design teams, and executive leadership, you will oversee all aspects of project execution including scheduling, procurement, cost control, subcontract management, client communication, quality assurance, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from award through final completion.
• Developing staffing plans and overseeing project teams.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, buyout, and administration.
• Driving schedule development, updates, and recovery planning.
• Monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
• Tracking material procurement and equipment deliveries.
• Managing change orders and contract administration.
• Ensuring quality, safety, and project compliance standards are met.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with owners, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
• Supporting business development efforts, networking activities, and proposal pursuits.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience, including significant exposure to phased renovations, occupied spaces, and complex construction projects.
• At least 5 years of experience serving as a Project Manager on large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Experience with subcontractor buyouts, contract administration, and change management.
• Proficiency with construction management software; experience with Procore and Primavera P6 is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, resolve complex issues, and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
