Work Environment\nThis position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection to our outpatient office. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekend hours as part of a rotational schedule. We maintain an open line of communication among team members to foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages sharing insights and best practices.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct in-depth assessments to measure and understand the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create and implement customized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to foster engagement in the recovery process. \n
- Track and evaluate clients' progress, modifying treatment approaches as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes. \n
- Work integratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and comprehensive care. \n
- Remain informed of the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to continually refine treatment methodologies. \n
- Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. \n
- Champion client advocacy efforts, working to reduce stigma around mood disorders and promote mental health awareness in the community. \n
Within our practice, you will work directly with clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our diverse client population requires a counselor who can adapt to individual needs, cultural backgrounds, and therapeutic preferences, ultimately building trust and rapport to foster effective therapeutic relationships.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorder treatment is preferred. \n
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals. \n
- Proven success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes in treating mood disorders. \n
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds. \n

Compensation and Benefits\nSevita offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, alongside a sign-on bonus of $3,000!
