We are seeking experienced Class A professional owner-operators to join our expanding team. We are seeking safe and courteous business-minded drivers to transport containers in the rapidly expanding Southeast regional market. Why GFA: Consistent high freight volumes High Volume lanes from Savannah Port to various Georgia and Florida locations Drop and Hook Freight – no touch What you will be doing: Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipt Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations What you should have: Must be 23 years of age Proven work experience as a truck driver. Minimum of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL Must have own tag - we do not offer a tag program TWIC card is recommended but not necessary Smart phone or tablet for ELD Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Clean MVR Accident Free Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Valid Class A license and medical card Fuel card provided Weekly settlement through direct deposit Become a part of our rapidly growing, dynamic team, and we'll help you develop to a level that will exceed your expectations.
