Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a client site in Winston-Salem, NC, working Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months experience
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in team environments
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime and site travel
