Assistant Service Manager – Temporary
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $39/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:45 AM–4:00 PM
Possible Saturday Coverage: 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Temporary Assignment: Expected through the end of September, with possible extension
TDL Staffing is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for temporary coverage with an Anchorage industrial service company. This role supports daily service operations by coordinating technician assignments, assisting with work orders and quotes, communicating with customers and manufacturers, and helping keep service work organized and moving efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to provide strong customer service while managing multiple priorities in a busy service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate jobs and daily assignments for service technicians
- Assist with technician training and safety procedures
- Provide technical assistance to customers and technicians
- Create parts requests for service jobs
- Communicate with manufacturers regarding technical issues and support
- Review and sign off on completed work orders
- Maintain and update service backlog information
- Prepare customer quotes
- Help maintain a safe, clean work environment for technicians
- Travel to other branch locations as needed to provide support
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Strong organization and good judgment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remain effective under pressure
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to attend factory training as needed
