Commercial Insurance Casualty Risk Manager-Part Time
The Commercial Insurance & Casualty Risk Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's commercial insurance and casualty risk programs across manufacturing operations. This role minimizes financial loss, ensures adequate insurance protection, manages claims, oversees broker and carrier relationships, and supports enterprise risk management initiatives. The position works closely with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Operations, Legal, Human Resources, and Finance teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting employees, facilities, products, and business operations. Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- 7+ years of progressive risk management, insurance, claims, or casualty management experience.
- 3+ years supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or supply chain environments.
- Experience managing large deductible, self-insured, or captive insurance programs.
- Experience working directly with brokers and insurance carriers.
Certifications Preferred
- ARM (Associate in Risk Management)
- CRM (Certified Risk Manager)
- CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter)
- AIC (Associate in Claims)
- RIMS-CRMP (Risk Management Professional)
