About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Aurora, Colorado, 80012!

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Aurora, CO at a hospital where you will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing direct support to the surgical team during cardiovascular cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current NBSTSA certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care CVOR technologist hospital experience. This is a client requirement; candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• DORA and additional client-required certifications must be in hand prior to start.
• Proficiency in open heart procedures.
• Experience with GE and Stryker equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech experience.
• Prior travel CVOR experience in large trauma facilities.
• Cardiovascular procedural experience including CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 - 17:00.
• Team structure: Day teams typically 2 RNs and 1 CST; night teams typically 1 RN and 1 CST.
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for CVOR cases.
• Must be able to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility when needed.
• Call requirements will vary and will be discussed during interview.
• Weekends: No weekends required per unit notes.

As a CVOR technologist with our network you will contribute to high-quality cardiac surgical care. You will work within established teams in a facility using Meditech/CPN electronic medical records and standard cardiovascular surgical technologies. Your work will support complex procedures and the continuity of patient care across campus systems.
